COURSE OBJECTIVE

Provide an accurate diagnosis of the most common intraoral and orofacial pain conditions, be able to recognize the more complex orofacial pain conditions, and initiate referrals to appropriate experts in managing such patients
Perform a comprehensive pain assessment, including its impact on the patient
Manage the pain based on best-available evidence and good clinical practice and to evaluate the effectiveness of those actions.
